1971-74 Henry Reed New York Giants Game Worn Football Helmet (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a New York Giants helmet which was donned by defensive end Henry Reed during his tenure with the team circa 1971-74. Helmet is a size 7 3/8 - 7 1/2 Rawlings Air Flo model which features a navy painted dome with a single red decal stripe running down the center. "NY" team logo decals are applied on either side of the helmet along with Reed's uniform number 80, which has been applied to both the front and the back of the helmet. All padding remains intact inside the helmet with some blue paint staining. "Mon Aug 11 1970" is also scratched in the interior of the helmet. Heavy use shown. (67U0015)
