Long time basketball fans will be able to remember the excitement of having a championship team here in Milwaukee.
Lew Alcindor and Oscar Robertson led the Bucks to the NBA Championship, as they swept the Baltimore Bullets in 4 games.
The highlight of this package is a unique, rarely seen booklet titled "Twenty Giant Steps." It is a summary of the team's record setting 20 game winning streak during that 1970/71 season. It was published in part as a promotion for the Milwaukee Bucks Basketball Camps.
This book is about the same size as the regular media guide and is in excellent/near mint condition. Filled with the box scores and stats from the games covering February 6, 1971 until March 8, 1971. There are several great color photos of Alcindor, Oscar, and Bob Dandridge in the booklet.
Also included in this package are 2 tickets stubs from home games played on February 8, 1971 ( Game #2 of the winning streak ) and March 3, 1971 ( Game #17 of the winning streak. ) The ticket stubs were hand torn by the usher as you entered the Arena. Both stubs are in very good condition, clearly showing the day and date of the games. (35K0172)
