Offered is a professional model K48 Lou Whitaker Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Detroit Tigers circa 1986-89 which has been signed on the barrel in black marker by Lou along with inscriptions reading "Al ROY 1978 WSC 1984 #1". Bat currently measures 35", weighs 30 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, handle tape, pine tar, grain swelling/deadwood, a cracked handle (-1) & Lou's uniform number 1 written on both the knob & barrel's end.
