Offered is an oversize (14" x 18" ) hardcover book detailing the US Army & Navy from the period spanning our Independence (1776) through the end of the 19th Century (1899). Book was published in 1899 by The Werner Company in Akron, Ohio with Lieutenant Colonel Arthur L. Wagner handling the Army portion of the tome while Commander JD Jerrold Kelley was responsible for the section on the Navy. 239 pages of text, color illustrations, tables, charts & more. While some age related wear is evident book remains in excellent overall condition considering its age with a solid binding. (27C0183)
