Offered is a jersey which appears to have been prepared in tribute to New York Yankees shortstop Derek Jeter's final season. Majestic, size 48 & 2014 tags sewn to tail while the Yankees interlocking "NY" logo & Jeter's number 2 are also sewn to the navy pinstriped white knit jersey. While jersey does show wear, there are a number of inconsistencies present when compared to previously examined known authentic 2014 Yankees home jerseys, which lead us to believe this jersey was not issued to or worn by Jeter during his 2014 season with the Yankees.
