Offered is a shirt issued to be worn by George Blanda during the 1975 season, his final year of his HOF NFL career.

The style of the shirt is a black mesh “V” neck shirt which ends slightly above the horizontal chest seam. Shirt has ¾ sleeve with flat tail. Silver numbers appears on front, back and shoulders. “BLANDA” appears in correct style font on nameplate on reverse. The style of the shirt compares favorably with period images.

Tagging (Medalist/Sandknit 1975-1979): The style of the Medalist Sand Knit tag dates to the 1975-1979 era. Medalist was the correct supplier of Raiders shirts during the 1975-1979. Examples that have entered the hobby to support the supplier include:

Game Wear: The shirt exhibits moderate game wear. NOTE: There is adhesive reside from where the shirt was once mounted for display.

Final Grade (MEARS A9): Shirt grades a MEARS A9 with one point deducted for the tape residue. (Appears to be easily removed if the winning bidder decides to do so.)
