Offered is a first baseman's mitt dating to circa Charlie Grimm's 1934 season with the Chicago Cubs. Mitt has been signed in black marker by Grimm along with a "Best Wishes" inscription. Heavy wear shown with a few popped stitches along the top end and no thumb connector. Attached photo shows Grimm wearing a one year only style 1934 Cubs uniform with a mitt similar in style to the one on hand. (19U0285)
