Offered is a New York Mets cap dating to the outset of the franchise's existence circa 1962-68. Tim McAuliffe tag sewn to leather sweatband along with KM Pro & size 7 1/4 stampings while number 19 is written in black marker on the underside of the brim. Players to wear number 19 with the Mets during the stated time frame include Ken MacKenzie (1962-63), Ed Bauta (1963), Hawk Taylor (1964-67) and Kevin Collins (1967-68). Moderate to heavy wear shown.
