Offered is a professional model Tim McCarver game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his 1968 season with the St. Louis Cardinals. Model MC47 stamped on knob along with McCarver's uniform number 15 written in black marker. Examination of H&B records indicates the MC47 was a new model created for McCarver on 10/4/67 with numerous orders throughout the 1968 season, Bat currently measures 35.5", weighs 34 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, multi color bat racks, pine tar and deadwood with slight separation on the reverse of the barrel. Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for heavy use, 1 point for a pinpoint record & 1 point for the player number on knob with a 1 point deduction for the deadwood.
