Offered is a Lou Gehrig H&B Louisville Slugger 40LG store model bat likely dating to circa 1931 based on the "Bone Rubbed" stamping found adjacent to the center brand. Bat currently measures 34", weighs 34 ounces and shows heavy use with deadwood through the barrel and a cracked handle repaired with three period nails. (01C0081)
