Offered is a handmade baseball likely dating to circa the 19th Century. Hide is constructed of stitched brown leather and what appears to be a yarn wound core. Ball is noticeably smaller than a standard baseball with an approximate 7" circumference and weight of 2 ounces. Heavy use shown with numerous scuff marks and some missing/repaired stitches.
