Offered is a New York Mets road jersey which was presumably issued to Hall of Famer Willie Mays circa 1981. Rawlings size 46 tag sewn in collar with a "46 81" strip tag sewn to the tail while "Mets", number 24 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the grey knit two button pullover, though the number is not original to the jersey as the outline of a previously applied number (18 or 19) is visible around the outline of the 24. Also missing nameplate. Size is too large to have been issued to been worn by Mays. Sold as style only. (97Y0364)
