Offered is a Wade Boggs Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Boston Red Sox circa 1983-85. Model C235 stamped on barrel while Wade's uniform number 26 is written on the knob in black marker. Bat currently measures just under 34.5" with a cupped end, weighs 31.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, bat rack marks, pine tar and grain swelling/slight deadwood. Handle remains uncracked. Records indicate bats in this model, size & weight range were ordered both by Boggs for personal use and by the Boston Red Sox for promotional purposes during the stated label period. (98Z0317)
