Taken from an original file negative, this image depicts a smiling Tony Canadeo leaping over a potential tackler. The photographer captured Tony in mid-flight with arms extended as he balances himself as he prepares to land. The details of his yellow leather helmet, blue and gold uniform and tan canvas pants are crystal clear to the viewer.
During the 1990s, MEARS conducted a private autograph signing with Tony Canadeo in Milwaukee, WI. A very limited number of these prints were signed, personally witnessed by MEARS President Troy R. Kinunen. When providing the third party authentication, JSA company founder and lead authenticator Jimmy Spence commented that these were the only 16x20 photos he ever saw of Tony Canadeo and was quite impressed by both the quality and stature of the image.
“Tony Canadeo, HOF 74.” is signed in near mint blue sharpie. Great care was taken during the signing; with new markers being rotated after just a few autographs were signed, insuring only the highest quality signatures appeared on this remarkable print.
Only a few select individuals can own this 16x20 original. A rare opportunity to obtain an authentic autograph of a member of the famous 1940s Curly Lambeau led Green Bay Packers. JSA hologram applied to lower right corner.
