Mike Grell is an American comic book artist best known of Green Arrow, Tarzan, and the Warlord. A Wisconsin Native, Grell studied at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Chicago Academy of Fine Art, and the Famous Artists School correspondence course in cartooning. Mike Grell proudly served in Vietnam towards the end of the war. In 1973 Grell moved to New York and began his long career with DC comics.
