The Workman’s Glove was the 3rd evolution of the glove, following the Tipped Workman’s Glove and the original Fingerless models. The main identifying characteristics is the lack of webbing between the thumb and forefinger.

This glove is constructed of four individual pieces that form the front, back, thumb, and wrist strap. The exterior of the glove is in excellent condition, with some wear/light cracking of the piping around the hand opening. The Asbestos lining is intact, with some cracking visiable in the interior. Wrist button complete and functional. Another very rare example of 19th century baseball equipment. LOA Troy R. Kinunen / MEARS
