In April of 2014, Chicago’s Wrigley Field, the National League’s patriarchal ballpark, officially celebrated its 100th birthday. In addition to being the National League’s oldest, it is also the only ballpark that remains from the now-legendary Federal League of 1914 & 1915, for which it was originally built. This special base which was used in 2014’s Home Opener brandishes a colorful red, white & blue emblem, accented by side-panel jewels & MLB hologram honoring acknowledging the base’s historic significance.
