Not many game worn treasures have been unearthed from the Chicago Blackhawks championship season of 2009-10.
Worn during the first game of the season is this Dustin Byfgulien gamer. There are several factors which make this stand out. Emblazoned on the right breast is a Premiere Helsinki patch linking it to the game the Blackhawks served as the home team. Second, chenille threads are incorporated into the oversized Blackhawks team emblem on front and both side patches. Third, authentication is secured with a "Blackhawks Premiere 2009 Set A25714" tag on the inner rear tail and team letter on Blackhawks stationery.
The use is light, for hockey standards, as would be be expected from a one-game jersey. Some fraying evident on the two-color tackle twill numbers. "BYFUGLIEN" is applied to a mesh nameplate on back.
Sewn in the collar is a CCM size "58" tag with "E" written above the label in black marker. The original fight strap in intact as well.
Remember the championship Blackhawks journey with a jersey which helped start it all.
