Offered is a professional model GS11NY Gary Sheffield SamBat which the New York Yankees slugger used to hit the 26th home run of his 2004 season & 405th of his prolific career on August 8, 2004 off of Miguel Batista. Sheffield has signed the barrel in blue marker along with an inscription reading "8/8/04 vs Toronto HR #26 Career HR #405 Pitcher Batista". Bat currently measures 35", weighs 33 ounces and shows moderate use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, pine tar and a taped knob. Sheff Authenticated hologram affixed to barrel while PSA/DNA hologram 1B12674 is affixed to barrel's end with the accompanying letter awarding a grade of PSA GU10 also attending. Bat receives 5 points for matching player specs, 2 points for moderate use, 1 point for player traits and 2 points for the event specific inscription resulting in a Final Grade of MEARS A10.
