Offered is a professional model 238 Willie McGee Stix bat dating to his final season with the St. Louis Cardinals in 1999 which has been signed on the barrel in silver marker by Willie along with a "7/27/99" inscription. Bat currently measures 33.5", weighs 29.5 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks, grain swelling, pine tar and Willie's uniform number 51 written on both the knob and barrel's end. Examination of McGee's game log indicates he did not play on the inscribed date. (61K0039)
