Offered is a New York Yankees batting helmet dating to circa 1992. ABC size 7 1/4 tag applied inside helmet along with a "12 91" date wheel stamping and "49" written in black marker on the reverse pad. The last player to wear number 49 for the Yankees was Jeff Johnson in 1992, though he was a pitcher who batted right handed & this helmet is designed for a left handed batter. Heavy wear shown.
