As the troops were serving overseas to prepare for Desert Storm, members of the military received a small perk for their services. Each member was supposed to get 10 cards. Many of these cards were destroyed, because each unit had to sign for the cards, making the existing cards rarer. Offered here is a 1991 Topps Desert Shield Complete Set of 792 cards, 10 wrappers from sealed packs and a case crate that held 36 boxes.
