Offered is a February 12, 1988 Chicago Bulls vs Milwaukee Bucks un-used Game Ticket.
Full, unique, colorful MECCA Floor ticket.
Long time basketball fans will easily recognize and remember the colorful floor from the MECCA in Milwaukee. ( For those interested, MECCA stood for Milwaukee Exposition Convention Center and Arena. )
It was one of the first floors designed to draw attention to the specific location, and at the time was somewhat controversial. The design for the floor was created by artist Robert Indiana.
By the time of the 1987/88 season, Michael Jordan was easily recognized as one of the growing superstars of the league. This game was played on Feb12, 1988, several years before the Bulls started their championship runs.
The Bulls beat the Bucks that night, Jordan leading the Bulls with 27 points. The game was a sellout, with a capacity crowd of 11,052.
This ticket was not used that night, remains fully intact and in excellent/near mint condition This version of the game day ticket had the colorful MECCA floor printed on the background. This type of ticket was not commonly available for other fans. The consigner was a guest that night of a team representative, and has held the ticket for the past 32 years.
Enjoy this unique addition for any Michael Jordan or basketball fan of that era.
