Offered is a New York Mets jersey which appears to have been prepared in tribute to Hall of Fame slugger Willie Mays. Rawlings size 42, Set 1 1978 & "42 78 34" tags sewn inside tail while "Mets", number 24 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the grey knit two button pullover. "42 78 34" strip tag inside tail is not original to jersey, so MEARS cannot confirm issuance to or wear by Willie Mays. (48X0314)
