Offered is a Kansas City Royals home jersey dating to circa Whitey Herzog's 1978 season managing the AL West Champions. Rawling size 46 tag sewn inside tail with a Set 1 1978 flag tag while "Royals", number 24 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the white knit pullover. Whitey has also signed the reverse in blue marker along with a "76-77-78 Western Div. Champs" inscription. Heavy wear shown, with extended organizational use following the 1978 season likely with the name removed from the back and what appears to be a restored numeral. (49Y0163)
