Bart Starr carried on the coaching tradition of Vince Lombardi and Curly Lambeau while captaining the team from the Lambeau Field sidelines from 1975-1983. To outfit the head coach, the Sand Knit Company from Berlin, WI custom crafted a complete set of side line gear. The following lot was worn by Starr as head coach of the Green Bay Packers. Even the Riddell turf shoes were worn. On April 3, 1976, the Green Bay Packers created a permanent site for their Hall of Fame, an additional to the Brown County Veterans Arena. President Gerald R. Ford dedicated the new Hall. This item was once housed in the original Packer Hall of Fame, and then later sold by the Hall at auction once they decided to change the direction of some displays. This Bart Starr complete game worn uniform is housed on a very life like custom mannequin. The complete ensemble was purchased by our consignor at the sale. First time publicly offered since the Hall of Fame sale.
