Offered is a Chicago Cubs home jersey dating to JC Martin's stint with the team during his final MLB season in 1972. Wilson size 42 tag & strip reading "12 72 Set 1 42" sewn in collar with a 72 year tag sewn to the tail while a circular Cubs logo, number 12 and a team logo patch are also sewn to the blue pinstriped white knit pullover, with 1972 marking the first season that Chicago wore knit jerseys. Heavy wear shown indicating likely extended organizational use following the season as Martin only appeared in 13 home games with the Cubs in 1972. (95W0074, 3428)
