1970 Seattle Pilots/Milwaukee Brewers Home Jersey (MEARS LOA)

Offered is a Milwaukee Brewers home jersey dating to their inaugural season in 1970 which still retains visible outlines of the original Seattle Pilots applique on the front of the jersey. As the Pilots went bankrupt a week before the start of the 1970 season there was no time to order new uniforms & the existing stock had to repurposed from Seattle Pilots to Milwaukee Brewers. McAuliffe tag sewn to tail with size 44 & 70 year tags while "Brewers" and number 56 are also sewn to the white flannel jersey in blue on gold double tackle twill. (87P0443)
