Offered are a pair of whisky decanters depicting the major political party's symbolic animal mascots which were produced around the time of the 1964 Presidential Election. Included are a Beam 120 Months Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey decanter depicting the Democratic donkey and a Gilbey's 100 Month Old Spey Royal Scotch Whisky decanter depicting the Republican elephant. Each decanter stands approximately 12.5" tall with their corks snapped off in the top opening, though their hats still rest atop their heads for display purposes. (97Y0226)
