Offered is a Kansas City Athletics uniform vest dating to Mel McGaha's 1963 season as a coach with the team. Wilson size 46 tail sewn to tail with a strip reading "Set 3 63 No. 41" while "Guy Price" is written in black marker in the collar. An "A" team logo, number 49 and "Mel" are also sewn to the yellow knit vest, though it appears only the "A" is original to the jersey with both the name and number restored. Also accompanying are a matching pair of uniform pants which were issued to pitcher Ted Bowsfield during the same 1963 season. Wilson size 36 tag sewn in waistband with a strip reading "Set 1 63 No. 43". Heavy use shown to both uniform elements. (80H0422)
