Offered is a St. Louis Cardinals cap likely dating to Stan Musial's tenure with the team circa 1962. Rawlings tag sewn to leather sweatband which is also stamped with size 7 1/4 while Stan's uniform number 6 is written on the underside of the brim in slightly faded black marker. Moderate wear shown with a small area of fabric loss on the back right panel and a crack in the cardboard brim insert. Although no provenance accompanies this lot, our consignor states this cap originated direct from the Musial family. (02D0177)
