Offered is a Dallas Texans game worn football helmet dating to their 1961-62 seasons in the AFL. Interior features a six strap suspension system with a manufacturer's label reading "RK4 Helmet Use Only Kra-Lite Lacquer To Repaint John T. Riddell" while "7" & "M, 62-9" are written in black marker. "61" is also stamped adjacent to the left ear hole. Thirty two venting holes are punched in the crown while the exterior of helmet is painted red with a white State of Texas decal featuring a gold star in the approximate location of Dallas applied to either side.
