Hard to find 1960 presidential campaign booklet featuring John F. Kennedy and Richard Nixon. The four page paper color booklet measures 5.5” x 9”. The front cover design depicts a smiling Jack Kennedy head shot framed in an oval and surrounded by 11 stars on a blue field. Nixon is on the bottom in matching oval head shot and his “Tricky Dick” smile. The front text reads, “A Look At the Record, From Labor’s viewpoint, on key votes- Jack Kennedy has voted right 120 times, and wrong 2 times. Richard Nixon has voted right 10 times, and wrong 59 times." (see back cover for complete score card).
The inside features the candidates voting record on issues such as Labor Management, Minimum Wage, Civil Rights, Rules Committee, Foreign Policy, Social Security, Housing, Income Tax, and Education.
Back page as the Union print stamp, and “Committee on Political Education, AFL-CIO”. Publication No. 80.
It is interesting to note that the same issues were the center of the 2016 presidential campaign. Flyer remains in near mint condition. Originated in Chicago, IL.
