Offered is a professional model Eddie Mathews game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to his tenure with the Milwaukee Braves circa 1960-65. Model S2 stamped on knob along with Eddie's uniform number 41 written in heavily faded marker & the factory weight of 33 1/2 ounces in pencil. Bat currently measures 36", weighs 33 ounces and shows heavy use with ball marks, stitch marks, bat rack marks and slight grain swelling to the barrel. PSA/DNA hologram 1B08561 affixed with the accompanying LOA awarding a grade of PSA/DNA GU 8.5 also attending. Bat receives 5 points for matching player records, 3 points for heavy use and 1 point for the number on knob with a 1/2 point deduction for an area of gouging/discoloration on the reverse of the barrel.
