Offered are three black and white Associated Press 6.5" x 8.5" wire photos from the 1957 World Series; dated October 1st - 3rd. Also, two Milwaukee Journal Braves articles featuring Hank Aaron and Lew Burdette printed on the unique "pink" sheet.

For many years, from 1913 until 1967, the Milwaukee Journal newspaper published what was known as the "PEACH" or "PINK" SHEET. The PEACH/PINK SHEET was literally printed on a different tone of news print, and stood out for it's unique color. This 2 page wraparound supplement to the evening newspaper provided late breaking news, daily stock reports, and the latest sports scores. This addition to the regular print edition was available only at downtown news stands, from special paper boxes, small downtown businesses, and carriers on the street corners. It was NOT available for the regular home delivery customers. Because of this limited delivery, many long time collectors have not been aware of or had access to this type of item. This auction includes 2 samples of the Peach sheet from the 1957 and 1958 World Series. The papers are fragile, but have been well cared for and are intact. For the Braves collector looking to add several unique items to their memories.
