Max Margolis was a Milwaukee area department store owner who gifted the Milwaukee Braves players with gifts in exchange for promotional purpose. Margolis was one of the first business owners, along with auto dealer Wally Rank, to work with the African American players for marketing promotions. This rare photo was from the personal collection of award winning photographer Frank Stanfield and was personally developed by him during the 1950s.
