To the knowledge of MEARS, this is both the only surviving example and finest known 1950s Hank Aaron Milwaukee Braves batting helmet. Supplied by the American Baseball Cap company, the navy fiberglass shell was faded front "M", 4 vent hole top, brown leather interior head band, and "44" painted on top in worn, faded green paint. The American Baseball Cap company has "AARON" written in period ink. Helmet shows numerous seasons worth of game wear. Absolutely perfect in every regard. Signed in near mint silver marker on brim.
