Wrapping his career up at the end of the 1951 season, Joe DiMaggio continued to be involved with the Yankees as an instructional coach. This bat is a Yankees team ordered bat. Bat dates to the 1950s, measures 36" in length, weighs 32.5 ounces, and is a model H117. Heavy use, ball stitch marks, and blue, red, green rack marks. Handle was taped an the remains of the pattern are still visible. 10" x 1.25" area of the back barrel has been professionally restored. (31G0259)
