This 2 1/2" bronze coin commemorates Joe Louis's victory over Max Schmeling on June 22, 1938. One side of the coin features a sculpting of Louis along with text reading "Joe Louis The Brown Bomber" while the other shows Louis standing over a fallen Schmeling with the date and text reading "A Victory for Democracy".
