Offered is a blue & red stitched Reach Official American League Ernest Barnard baseball dating to circa 1928 which remains housed in a period box. No Barnard signature stamping present which indicated ball was originally intended for commercial or minor league use. Ball remains in good overall condition with some discoloration while the top flap has come loose from the box. Ball originated from the estate of Al Simmons. (89R0223)
