Offered is a professional model Walter Gerber game used H&B Louisville Slugger dating to circa his 1926 season with the St. Louis Browns. Bat currently measures just over 34", weighs 33.5 ounces and shows heavy use with deadwood through the barrel which has been repaired with 5 period nails. Handle remains uncracked. Text which appears to read "Walter Gerber 6/17/26" is also sidewritten. (02D0575)
